From Manaoag to Monasterio road trip

Manaoag is just one of the municipality of Pangasinan once you have the opportunity to travel there don’t forget to visit the popular church Our Lady of Manaoag. A lot of people visit the church just to have their car blessed. Say you decided to actually wanted to see the church and no plan of attending the mass I advise you to visit it on the weekdays.

Outside the church because a lot of people are already inside.

If you are hungry there are a lot of food stalls around the church and maybe buy some for your “pasalubong”.

You might want to try their “Tupig”

If you are heading back to Manila or Pampanga and it’s already lunch time better to try Isdaan floating restaurant. The place is located in Gerona, Tarlac maybe an hour and a half away from Manaoag. If you want to experience a different ambiance you can try it here. It’s a place for family and kids, you will find a lot of statues of Buddha, animals, cartoons and etc., they also have free shows inside. The food is good, a bit overpriced maybe because of the place and the service.

Before we end our road trip we also visited the Monasterio de Tarlac. It’s a monastery on top of Mount Resurrection and it is part of the Zambales Mountain Range in San Jose. A 30 foot statue of Christ towered at the top.
